NIRFAST is a single software package for light propagation modeling and multi-modal optical image reconstruction. It consists of two main components:
  1. A medical image processing and analysis component built on the 3DSlicer platform (called NIRFASTSlicer)
  2. The mesh generation and optical computation component built on MATLAB (now called NIRFASTMatlab)
These components are integrated to provide one seamless workflow, straightforward multi-modal optical image reconstruction with real data.
